Academic
Projects
From all the projects done on my bachelors in biomedical engeneering, these stand out for the quality and love put into them
01
Project Calm Down
Project focused on individuals experiencing occupational stress, aiming to address a lack of effective methods for measuring stress in daily life, wit the integration of a "Breathing Guide" with a user-friendly HRV biofeedback to aid stress reduction.

02
Optimization of Microfluidic Structures for Lab-on-a-CD
Hands-on experience in cutting-edge research with Vital Biosciences and INESC MN, designing and prototyping microfluidic structures with CAD softwares, optimising performance, testing flow behaviour, and developing validation protocols for healthcare diagnostics tech.

After uni
Projects
tHESE ARE SOME OF THE projects I developed AS DESIGN AND COMMUNICATION COORDinator IN NEBM, IT DEPARTMENT MEMBER at best lisbon, and MEMBER OF OTHER DESIGN/MULTIMEDIA TEAMS
01
NEBM’s Website
Reemagined the website that represents the biomedical engeneering degree and offers access to material for all courses of the degree.

02
NEBM’s BIOMIND HACKTHON
There was not a lot of budget, so me and my team developed a digital marketing strategy surrounding instagram posts and digital posters like if they were posted all around Lisbon to create more awareness to the event. This resulted in the year with the most participants, and even from outside of IST or a Biomedical Engineering degree.

03
RE-IMAGINED NEBM LOGO
To better encompass the diverse range of areas in the Biomedical Engineering field, a new logo was created representing the 4 main areas:

05
BIOMEDICAL ENEGINEERING MERCHANDISE
This year, we wanted to create a fresh new look for the Biomedical Engineering merch that better aligned with our new visual identity and the degree’s diverse field.

07
BIONEWS
Monthly stories on Instagram, covering important current topics, events and collaborations with companies in the Biomedical Engineering field.
04
“CONVERSAS W/ BIOMÉDIC@S”
Me and my team created a series of 3 reels where we interviewed Biomedical Engineering students to share their experience in the degree and as a student of Técnico, so that future students can have a more accurate representation of how it feel to pursue our degree.

06
BEST Lisbon’s Corporate Relations Website
A website made specially to contact potential sponsors and to inform them about BEST Lisbons events and how they can contribute to them. Made with a lot of love and guidance from my IT responsible Margarida Almeida, using HTML and CSS as main programing languages.
